Job summary

Target Freight Management, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for FTL/LTL and other customer service duties under the VP of Client Relations.

The role requires a detail-oriented multitasker with strong communication by phone, email, and in person with staff, customers, and carriers. You will route shipments cradle to grave, track and trace, build Bills of Lading, labels, load tenders, and support claims with a focus on accuracy and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics or related role.
• Excellent communication across customer and carrier organizations.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and work independently or in a group.
• Excellent phone and email communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Windows, and basic business software.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer service problems by determining the cause and selecting the best solution.
• Serve as a point of contact for dedicated customers and their carriers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers.
• Escalate customer and carrier issues as needed.
• Provide after-hours support to carriers, customers, staff, and vendors.
• Follow up on customer issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Route shipments cradle to grave for LTL and FTL, including creating BOLs and labels.
• Track and trace shipments across carrier sites and freight companies.
• Maintain compliance with company platforms and procedures.
