Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is hiring a logistics coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for customers and carriers, communicating by phone and email. Plan, route, and execute shipments across truckload, LTL, and hotshot services using Transportation Management System tools, and provide Track & Trace updates.

The role requires 2–4 years in logistics, strong communication, proficiency with TMS and Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage exceptions effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for customers and carriers via phone and email.
• Plan, route, and execute shipments using Transportation Management System tools.
• Provide Track & Trace updates and manage shipment exceptions.
• Monitor loads for exceptions and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery.
• Support the carrier billing process and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure compliance with policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives at the account and operations level.
