You will read shipping labels, complete standard forms, and secure freight with straps and airbags to prevent damage during transport. The role requires standing and lifting up to 100 lbs, with flexible shifts to meet customer schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and transport procedures a must.
• Familiarity with freight forms like bills and manifests preferred.
• Ability to use dock yard management system and tablets.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or pallet jack.
• Apply appropriate loading techniques for secure freight.
• Transport items within service center on various surfaces.
• Monitor shipment locations using dock yard system.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and related forms.
