Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and freight handling procedures.
• Familiarity with freight forms and shipping documents.
• Ability to operate a forklift and read labels.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or manually per DOT rules.
• Apply loading techniques like tight loading or cross loading.
• Move freight throughout the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
• Monitor freight locations using the Dock Yard Management System.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight forms.
• Secure freight in trailers with pallets and straps.
