The role emphasizes safety, accurate handling of cargo, and frequent teamwork within our service center. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and experience with freight movement procedures, loading techniques, and forms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with safe lifting and transporting procedures.
• Experience with freight transportation processes and loading techniques.
• Familiarity with shipping forms and yard management systems.
• Ability to operate a handheld tablet and meet variable scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight on trailers using forklift or manual methods per DOT guidelines.
• Apply proper loading techniques and secure freight with straps or airbags.
• Move throughout service center and monitor freight locations using yard management system.
• Read shipping labels and manage freight documents and reports.
• Ensure quality loading of trailers and safe handling of all cargo.
