World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager: Freight Flow to lead store logistics, drive sales, and profitability. You will partner with the Store Manager to develop a high-performance team while upholding our brand, policies, and standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of leadership experience in fast-paced retail and can coach associates, de-escalate issues, and manage daily priorities with urgency and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Proven ability to de-escalate customer and store situations.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute daily priorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use all company tools and training resources to ensure team follows freight flow processes and visual standards.
• Coordinate with Store Manager to plan freight processing.
• Maintain Loss Prevention policies and inventory management initiatives.
• Maintain stockroom organization and standards.
• Analyze business trends using reports to identify opportunities and take action.
• Demonstrate and uphold World Market culture and values.
• Support safety training to maintain a safe work environment.
• Plan and execute daily tasks and duties as assigned by/without Store Manager.
