World Market in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager: Freight Flow to lead store logistics, drive sales and profitability, and foster a customer-first culture. You will partner with the Store Manager to develop a high-performance team while upholding our brand and standards.

This role requires at least 2 years of leadership in a fast-paced retail setting, the ability to work nights/overnights and weekends, and physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Strong sense of urgency and customer-focused mindset.
• Effective delegation and coaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead store freight flow processes and daily logistics operations.
• Plan freight processing in coordination with Store Manager.
• Maintain loss prevention policies and inventory controls.
• Keep stockroom organized and standards maintained.
• Analyze trends and use reports to drive opportunities and actions.
• Demonstrate World Market values and culture; ensure safe work environment.
• Execute daily priorities and support management in their absence.
