Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a dock associate responsible for loading and unloading freight with a forklift or manual methods. You will strap and pad freight, record conditions on arrival, and inspect dock equipment before and after shifts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be 17+, and capable of overtime work. A background check and drug screen are required. Teamwork and safety focus are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 17+ years old and able to work all shifts including overtime.
• Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
• Able to push/pull a loaded pallet jack and lift ~70 lbs.
• Commitment to safety policies and teamwork.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Properly load and unload freight using forklift or manual methods.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage.
• Record freight conditions accurately upon arrival.
• Perform pre/post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Attend work regularly and adhere to company policies.
