Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a dock associate in Minnesota to load and unload freight with a forklift or manual equipment. You will strap and pad freight to prevent damage and accurately note its condition on arrival at the service center.

The role requires lifting about 70 lbs, passing pre-employment checks, and the ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends. A HS diploma or GED and forklift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior forklift operation or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight as it arrives at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance; comply with company policies and procedures.
