Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior forklift operation or certification preferred.
• Must lift 70 lbs. and push/pull pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage during transport.
• Record the condition of freight when it arrives at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
