Job summary

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be 17+, and capable of lifting ~70 lbs. Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends is required; drug screens and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background
• Must be 17+ years of age
• Experience in transportation industry preferred
• Stable employment history preferred
• Prior forklift operation or certification preferred
• Able to lift ~70 lbs.
• Able to work all shifts including overtime and weekends
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage
• Record the condition of freight on arrival
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment
• Maintain regular attendance and dependability
• Perform any other duties as assigned as needed
