Estes Express in Illinois seeks a dock worker to load and unload freight, brace and pad cargo, and accurately record freight conditions on arrival. The role includes pre/post shift equipment inspections and adherence to safety rules.

Regular attendance and flexibility across shifts, including overtime and weekends, are required. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and experience in transportation; forklift operation or certification is preferred.

Competenze

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Record the condition of freight on arrival at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs., or more as needed.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks are required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
