Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs., and push/pull a loaded pallet jack or hand truck with a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work all shifts, overtime and weekends; dependable.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck or by hand.
• Brace, strap and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight as it arrives at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned, including safety and operational needs.
