Job summary

Estes Express is hiring a dock worker in Wisconsin to load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck, and to strap, brace and pad cargo to prevent damage.

You will record shipment conditions, perform pre‑ and post‑shift inspections, maintain attendance, and perform other duties as needed. Candidates should be 17+ with a GED or high school diploma, be able to lift about 70 lbs, and pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Experience in transportation preferred.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
• Able to work all shifts, overtime and weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage.
• Record freight condition on arrival accurately.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
