Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freight Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating daily freight operations. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Load Coordination:
   • Manage and cover truckload, flatbed, and expedited shipments.
   • Build and update shipments in our Transportation Management System (TMS).
2. Driver Communication:
   • Act as the primary point of contact for drivers.
   • Communicate and negotiate schedules and freight details effectively.
3. TMS Updates:
   • Update third-party TMS systems with accurate in/out times and Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
4. Customer Interaction:
   • Provide spot quoting for freight in customer portals.
   • Maintain strong customer relationships through timely and professional service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in freight dispatching or logistics coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in TMS platforms and customer portal systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
