DescriptionPafford Medical Services is seeking dedicated personnel to assist with logistics within our Special Response Team. In this role, you will respond to areas impacted by natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other crises, supporting both state and federal disaster responses. Candidates may be deployed within the continental United States, its territories, and internationally.
This position is an on-call, as-needed employment basis. Candidates must be able to deploy within 48 hours of notice for a minimum of fourteen (14) days. Conditions during deployment will vary depending on available resources.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy to disaster-affected areas within the United States and its territories, with potential international opportunities.
- Perform on-site logistics for teams providing medical support during and after disasters.
- Assist with the movement of supplies and personnel.
- Collaborate with response teams and agencies for coordinated disaster response.
- Adapt to rapidly changing environments and work conditions.
- Maintain and safeguard medical equipment and supplies.
Skills/Education/Other Requirements- US Citizen
- 18 years or older
- Experience with logistical support during disasters
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record
- Hazmat Awareness
- FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700 & 800 certifications
- Passport preferred
- Willing to work in all environmental conditions, including austere locations
Conditions of EmploymentThis is a per diem/casual W-2 position. Rates will be disclosed during disaster activation. Candidates may accept or decline deployment based on offered rates and conditions.
- Must pass post-offer physical, background check, and drug screen.
- May need to submit vaccination records depending on deployment.
- Maintain all certifications and licenses throughout employment.
