Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring for a full-time CSR in Iowa. You will maintain customer relationships and assist with tracking and monitoring freight movement, using retention techniques to resolve issues and support company goals.

Daily freight tracing with customers, aiding other terminals, and performing related duties are part of the role. Strong communication, organization, and typing speed are important in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle potentially stressful situations.
• General office and customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.
• Ability to type 30+ WPM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive relationship with customers and assist customers and other R+L employees in tracking and monitoring freight movement.
• Use customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and listened to, to resolve their issues, and promote company goals and objectives.
• Daily freight tracing with customers, assisting other terminals in freight related issues, and performing other related duties as assigned.
