Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain in Dublin, OH is seeking a Freight Brokerage Account Manager to retain and grow existing business, leveraging strong customer relationships and P&L awareness. You will understand customer needs, develop solutions, and coordinate with operations to meet service expectations.

You will also support new sales efforts through pricing, onboarding of new clients, and targeting new opportunities to grow revenue and profitability for Legacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, international trade, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in freight forwarding, domestic transportation, customs brokerage, and international supply chains desirable.
• 2+ years proven growth in account management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for all account management matters.
• Leverage relationships to increase revenue and profitability for Legacy.
• Lead business reviews with customers and drive action plans to improve results.
• Proactively communicate issues to maintain positive results for assigned accounts.
• Negotiate rates with customers, sales, internal operations, and external providers.
• Quote rates to assigned customers and potential new customers.
• Understand customer needs and develop solutions to drive growth.
