The position requires 2+ years of billing experience in transportation or logistics, familiarity with McLeod is a plus, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work on-site with occasional extended hours during close.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; accounting/business education a plus.
• 2+ years in billing, preferably in transportation or logistics.
• McLeod software experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in Excel and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and generate customer invoices using McLeod LoadMaster based on load data.
• Review load details for accuracy before invoicing and attach required documents.
• Monitors unbilled loads and resolves issues to prevent delayed revenue.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Customer Service, AR to gather missing info.
• Maintain billing records in line with policy and audit requirements.
• Upload invoices to customer portals or email them when required.
• Assist with billing reporting, audits, and process improvements.
• Comply with customer-specific billing instructions and close revenue with month-end activities.
