Job summary

Ryan Transportation, a Shamrock company, seeks a driven Business Development Associate to win new business in freight brokerage and 3PL. You will identify and pursue new accounts, expand relationships, and manage a CRM-driven pipeline from Phoenix and beyond.

You will build long-term client partnerships and deliver transportation solutions that create value in a fast-paced, performance-driven team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven success in high-performance B2B sales in freight/logistics.
• Proven ability to close new business via cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets in quota-driven environments.
• Experience with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new customers requiring freight brokerage and 3PL services.
• Close high-potential prospects into long-term clients.
• Grow and maintain strategic relationships to maximize account value.
• Expand business within current accounts.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM and tracking.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies.
• Oversee customer onboarding, including contract negotiation and setup.
• Partner across departments to ensure flawless service delivery.
