Job Summary

The Project Manager for Delivery Operations is responsible to research, develop, and manage medium to large scale development and technical projects to assure Omnicom Production tools, services, and organizational structure meet business objectives, create efficiencies across our global network. This position is responsible for overseeing and providing direction to project teams, setting project goals, tracking project tasks in written form, ensuring the delivery of results, monitoring progress, and managing activities of the projects.

The mission of the Delivery Operations team is to create solid foundational structure to empower the entities of Omnicom Production to build upon and succeed.

This role requires a healthy understanding of interdepartmental and inter-agency project management from project planning, initiation to implementation and monitoring.

The goal of the Project Manager for Delivery Operations is to support the internal efforts to enhance workflows, implement tools and increase efficiencies across Omnicom Production.

Location: Remote, based in our office locations.

Salary: $3000 - 3500/week

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from project sponsors and propose project plans.
  • Organize, facilitate, and participate in meetings of stakeholder groups to identify needs and build consensus and collaboration.
  • Define project scope, milestones, level of involvement, staffing, training, and resources needed.
  • Monitor and regularly communicate, verbally and in written form, project status to Delivery Operations team, Omnicom Production leadership, and other key stakeholders to ensure progress towards completion within agreed upon scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Develop and monitor adherence to project plan, schedule and budget and communicates progress to stakeholders.
  • Lead diverse project team to complete tasks, including technical and non-technical team members.
  • Identify problems, barriers and mitigation strategies and training needs related to project; coordinates and conducts training.
  • Escalate barriers, potential delays, and issue areas in a timely manner.
  • Document processes, procedures, and business requirements including financial, budgetary, or operational progress in partnership with Delivery Operations.
  • Thorough updates to written communication tool(s) to share project progress and needs.
  • Create clear written communications for important hand off information.
  • Build change management plan including communications and implementation of adherence strategies pre and post go-live.
  • Facilitate project leadership with global team members
  • Modify project plan as necessary in response to unforeseen changes or developments. As needed, represents Business Solutions in meetings and other venues connected to project status.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of experience that demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of this position.
  • Ability to apply sound learning principles, agile methods, and the learning systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Experience with software development
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written

Preferred Qualification

  • Project Management professional certification.
  • Hands-on experience leading complex change in production, agency, operations, or business services setting.
  • Managing full life-cycle software development

US Pay Range

$3,000—$3,500 USD
