Visit.org, Inc. seeks an experienced Freelance Event Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA to manage logistics for in-person events. You will be on-site, coordinating details, shipping materials, staffing, and guest check-in to ensure a memorable experience for attendees.

Qualifications

• Based in Pittsburgh, PA; willing to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all event details, shipping materials, and staffing on-site.
• Join virtual planning meetings with corporate partner, nonprofit partner, and Visit.org team.
• Be on-site to set up, manage on-site activities, tear down, and ensure high-quality guest experience.
• Represent Visit.org, lead the onsite team, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Align roles with on-site teams including host, venue, staff, and partners.
• Manage check-in of guests and provide a warm, friendly welcome.
