Job summary

Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist in Spring, TX to manage in-person event logistics, on-site coordination, and guest experiences for our mission-driven programs.

You will join planning calls, set up and break down events, handle check-in, solve on-site issues, and travel within the local region as needed; this contract per-event role offers flexible hours and potential ongoing freelance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Based in Spring, TX.
• Schedule flexible per-event contract.
• Experience with large-scale events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics, ship materials, and staff for each event on-site.
• Join virtual planning meetings with partners, Visit.org hosts, and coordinators.
• Setup, operate, and teardown events; ensure high-quality guest experience.
• Serve as Visit.org representative and problem-solver at events.
• Manage check-in and greet guests warmly; escalate issues to Events Team as needed.
• Provide updates, photos, and videos to Events Team during events.
• Pack and ship materials after events; help break down and reset site.
