Job summary

Visit.org, Inc. is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist to manage logistics for on-site, in-person events in Glasgow, KY.

The role requires a hands-on approach, strong English communication, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver engaging team-building and social impact experiences. The ideal candidate will coordinate logistics, support staffing, and serve as a reliable onsite presence, with flexibility to travel within the local region and work odd hours as events require.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Experience coordinating on-site events.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics, ship materials, and staff for each event.
• Be on-site to set up, run, and tear down events; ensure high-quality guest experience.
• Act as Visit.org representative and problem-solver at events.
• Manage check-in, greet guests, and escalate issues to the Events Team as needed.
• Provide timely updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team during events.
