Job summary

CGS Federal, a government services contractor, seeks an Auditor to perform general auditing and accounting tasks in support of fraud investigations. The role involves drafting audit guidelines, handling complex financial data, and collaborating across teams to uncover potential fraud.

Candidates will develop reports, organize large volumes of information, and assist with witness interviews and testimony as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree or higher in statistics/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination or data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
• Experience reviewing medical records and knowledge of medical billing procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Audit a variety of accounting systems and analyze large data volumes relevant to investigations.
• Prepare concise reports with charts, summaries and schedules as necessary.
• Assist with investigations including qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify witnesses and documents.
• Coordinate conferences and interviews with financial institutions and witnesses.
• Utilize databases to identify assets, documents, and other evidence for investigations.
