Job summary

Pathward is a hybrid, remote-office company dedicated to growing our talent anywhere. In the Fraud Risk Management and Operations function, this role analyzes fraud-related data across alerts, cases, losses, and customer activity to identify emerging fraud trends and control gaps.

You will translate complex data into executive-ready insights, design and deliver KPI/KRI reporting, and partner with Compliance, Risk, Product, and Technology to strengthen detection and resolution across the fraud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's or equivalent.
• Experience in data analysis within financial services, fraud risk management, payments, or related domains preferred.
• Ability to handle large volume of data and derive actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid business acumen.
• Strong written and communication skills with ability to explain complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience in consumer credit industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with fraud KPIs/KRIs and regulatory reporting environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to generate insights on fraud trends, loss drivers, and alert-to-case conversion.
• Support development and monitoring of fraud detection models, rules, thresholds, and segmentation strategies.
• Design and deliver fraud and risk reporting (KPIs/KRIs) aligned to regulatory standards.
• Translate data into executive-ready insights and partner cross-functionally to strengthen detection and resolution.
• Collaborate with Fraud, BSA/AML Operations, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Technology teams on reporting alignment.
• Analyze alert and case lifecycle data to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
