Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Fraud Risk Management & Operations Analyst I for a remote role with hybrid onsite options across the United States. You will review fraud alerts, triage cases, and conduct end-to-end investigations to mitigate risk and protect accounts and cards.

The role emphasizes documenting findings, escalation when needed, and adherence to SLAs. A high school diploma and related exposure are expected, with strong written and verbal communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Exposure to fraud, payments, banking operations, or customer service preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document transactions clearly.
• Good written and verbal communications; able to manage workload with SLA deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and triage fraud alerts and monitoring reports across assigned populations to identify unusual activity.
• Establish account activity profiles and compare observed vs. expected patterns.
• Perform end-to-end fraud investigations and document findings for regulator/audit review.
• Prepare and refer SAR- and CTR-eligible activity to BSA/AML Operations for filing consideration.
