Job summary

Poke House in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Trainer to lead pre-opening training for new locations, serve as an on-site resource during store launches, and help facilitate team training during and after openings.

You will bridge brand standards with real-world execution, coach franchise owners and staff, and ensure operational readiness across high-volume locations through hands-on support and clear communication. Travel up to 3–4 weeks is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant training or operations.
• Franchise experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new franchise owners on brand standards and operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop training schedules and materials.
• Support initial store openings by onboarding and training staff.
• Ensure locations are ready and meet company standards before opening.
• Coach trainees on service, safety, leadership, and financial controls.
• Provide feedback to corporate on training improvements and insights.
• Serve as an ongoing resource for operators post-launch.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Review KPIs for applicable locations.
