Job summary

PopUp Bagels is seeking a Franchise Performance Manager in Houston to bridge the franchisor and franchisees, driving brand standards and store performance. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on coaching in stores and openings.

You'll lead training for new openings, coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations, and conduct regular operational reviews to ensure food safety and guest satisfaction. Travel to openings is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in franchise operations, restaurant, retail, or hospitality management.
• Experience supporting franchisees or multi-unit operations preferred.
• Experience training teams and managing store openings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of franchise operations, P&L management, and brand compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and field reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel for on-site visits and openings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new franchise openings from pre-opening to grand opening.
• Partner with internal departments to meet pre-opening milestones and supply chain needs.
• Manage all training for location openings.
• Deliver hands-on, in-store training on standards and guest experience.
• Support ongoing education through field visits and coaching.
• Conduct operational reviews for brand standards and guest experience.
• Identify performance opportunities with franchisees and plan improvements.
• Recommend local marketing, staffing, and inventory solutions.
• Resolve escalated customer service issues with franchisor involvement.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Operations to equip franchisees.
