Job summary

Choice Hotels International is seeking a Franchise Communications Coordinator to manage production, administration, and distribution of communications to franchisees. You will oversee distribution lists, Salesforce workflows, and content publishing while providing editorial support to corporate communications.

You will write/edit communications, manage legal approvals, and coordinate with internal teams and the international team to ensure timely, accurate messaging across markets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a related field.
• Hospitality industry and/or franchise relations/communications experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Associated Press style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement strongly preferred.
• Content management and email distribution platform experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update biweekly email distribution lists across brand/audience segments.
• Create franchisee newsletter proofs in Salesforce and manage approvals twice a week.
• Build and upload custom email distribution lists in Salesforce for targeted campaigns.
• Distribute the franchisee newsletter on schedule twice a week.
• Create and distribute the monthly actions checklist.
• Upload all articles to the intranet and tag content correctly.
• Coordinate distribution timing/content with the international team when needed.
• Monitor the corporate communications inboxes and route requests to the right team.
• Support communications to franchisees for multiple internal departments (procurement, marketing, revenue management, IT, brand programs).
• Serve as writer/editor for emails, news updates, promotions, and operations updates.
