Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. NWK-ROCKAWAY store in New Jersey is seeking a hands‑on Leader to guide a framing team. You will coach framers, drive custom framing sales, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

You will lead by example, partner with the Store Manager, and handle MOD duties, onboarding, and training to continuously elevate framing solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers focused on customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Manage SOP adherence, store policies, and ensure a safe, professional work environment.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to deliver high‑quality framing on time.
• Achieve KPI targets and oversee inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing, onboarding, and coaching.
