Job summary

The Michaels Companies in La Verne, CA is seeking a Store Leader to guide a framing team that builds strong customer relationships while delivering custom framing solutions.

You will drive framing sales, coach associates, ensure SOP compliance, and partner with the Store Manager to meet KPI targets, while ensuring safe, organized store operations and excellent customer service for our art customers.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver quality solutions on time.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in selecting framing options.
• Manage store conditions, SOP adherence, and policy execution.
• Plan workload with Store Manager to meet KPI goals.
• Oversee inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support talent development.
