Job summary

The Michaels Tucker store is seeking a framing team lead to coach a skilled framer team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will build strong relationships with customers, guide them to framing solutions, and supervise framing staff to meet daily targets.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads, manage inventory, and ensure high-quality framing projects are completed on time while upholding SOPs and company standards.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to achieve their role KPIs
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time for networking
• Manage and execute the inventory management processes as assigned
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing and training of new Team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management
• Partner with MODs daily on framing expectations
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote commitments to vision and values
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed
• Follow SOPs and Company programs and ensure a safe environment
• Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions
• Assist with Omni channel processes
