Job summary

The Michaels Stores in La Verne, CA, is seeking a Store Leader to guide a team of framers focused on building customer relationships and delivering tailored framing solutions. You will drive custom framing sales, assist customers in creating memorable framing projects, and ensure operational excellence on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Develop and coach team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team targets.
• Review workload, plan sales floor time, manage inventory.
• Execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations.
• Maintain respectful, positive environment and model company values.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Support Omni-channel processes.
