Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Leadership professional in Long Beach, CA to guide a framing team in delivering high quality custom framing solutions. You will lead sales initiatives, coach staff, and ensure safe, compliant store operations.

You will assist with interviewing, onboarding and training, while driving on-floor customer engagement, inventory control and omnichannel processes. Flexibility for varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Previous custom framing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to deliver high quality solutions.
• Assist Store Manager in SOP compliance and policy execution.
• Drive custom framing sales and networking on the floor.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Support Omni channel processes and truck unload/stocking activities.
