Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Katy, TX is seeking a part-time Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and maintain a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Further duties include participating in BOPIS/SFS processes, supporting shrink and safety programs, and promoting the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop, ensuring a fast checkout experience.
• Complete truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties to keep the store in stock and well-merchandised.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
