Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Lead in Newton, MA to lead and coach a team of framers who build strong customer relationships and craft framing solutions.

You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art. You will partner with the Store Manager to manage SOPs, coach staff, meet KPI targets, handle inventory and safety programs, and serve as Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framers to deliver high-quality framing solutions
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans
• Manage store operations and ensure SOP compliance, safety, and inventory control
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members
• Partner with the Store Manager to plan workloads and meet KPI targets
• Support omni-channel processes and ensure a positive customer experience
