Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in DeKalb, IL is seeking a Store Lead to coach a framers team and drive custom framing sales. You will focus on building strong customer relationships while delivering framing solutions that meet client needs.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workload, manage KPIs, and oversee inventory, safety, and omni-channel processes. This role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail environment with nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art.
• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to reach their KPI targets.
• Oversee inventory, shrink and safety programs, and store operations as MOD.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
