Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. PORTLAND store seeks a proactive lead to guide a framing team, drive custom framing sales, and deliver memorable customer experiences.

You’ll coach framers, manage workload, and partner with the Store Manager to meet KPI targets and maintain store standards. Responsibilities include training new team members, supervising inventory and safety programs, handling omni-channel processes, and ensuring exceptional service from greeting to solution delivery for customers

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to deliver high-quality framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans.
• Assist Store Manager with SOPs, policies, and store standards.
• Develop and coach selling behaviors to meet KPI targets.
• Plan workload and prioritize framing tasks with the Store Manager.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Support omni-channel processes and store operations.
