Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Missouri seeks a Store Lead to coach a framing team, build customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales. You will assist in managing SOPs, safety, inventory, and staffing while delivering quality framing solutions to customers.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, retail leadership experience, and the ability to manage workload, plan staffing, and support store performance metrics. Night/weekend hours are possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors to enhance customer service and framing solutions.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs, and participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, observing and training of new team members; support Talent Development activities.
