Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Lead to manage and coach a framing team in Portland, OR. You will build customer relationships, drive custom framing sales, and deliver quality framing solutions on time by coordinating with the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include leading SOPs, team development, inventory control, and participating in truck unloading and omni-channel processes. This role requires leadership in a busy retail setting with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Manage SOPs, policies, and store conditions; ensure compliance.
• Plan workload with Store Manager to deliver on-time framing solutions.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and support interviewing, onboarding, training.
• Handle inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and omni-channel processes.
