Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Lead in Southgate, MI to coach a team of framers and drive custom framing sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure SOPs, standards, and safe store operations while delivering high quality framing solutions.

Responsibilities include leading daily operations, planning workload, managing inventory, onboarding and performance coaching, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred
• Retail management experience is preferred
• Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team to meet role KPI targets.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs; serve as MOD.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, observing and training of new team members; participate in performance management.
• Interact with customers and provide solutions; participate in Omni-channel processes.
