Michaels in Richmond, VA is seeking a framing team lead to coach a sales-focused crew and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions. You will support the Store Manager in SOP adherence, drive customer relationships, and ensure on-time framing services.

The role involves planning workloads with the Store Manager, managing inventory and safety programs, and serving as Manager on Duty while contributing to hiring, onboarding and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Retail management experience
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred
• Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and store standards
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager
• Achieve and monitor KPIs for the framing team
• Review sales and production workload and build plans for the sales floor
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in hiring and training of new team members
