Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Leader for the FORT MYERS-CAPE CORAL, FL area to lead and coach a team of framers, building strong customer relationships while delivering high-quality custom framing solutions.

You will drive custom framing sales, manage workloads with the Store Manager, ensure SOP compliance, safety, and effective onboarding of new team members. This role requires leadership in a busy retail framing shop, including nights and weekends.

• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan staffing and sales floor time.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
