Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Store Lead to manage and coach a team of framers, driving custom framing sales and building strong customer relationships.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workload, lead onboarding, and maintain high store standards in a dynamic retail environment. You will oversee daily operations, coaching, inventory control, and safety initiatives while modeling the company values and ensuring exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to build customer relationships and drive framing sales.
• Assist Store Manager in ensuring SOPs and company programs are followed.
• Develop selling behaviors and manage workload to meet KPIs.
• Oversee inventory, shrink, safety programs and store operations.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members.
