Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Lead in Canton, OH to coach and manage a team of framers and sales associates.

You will drive custom framing sales, ensure SOP compliance, and uphold store standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include leading daily operations, planning staffing and workloads with the Store Manager, managing inventory and safety programs, and acting as MOD.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for daily operations.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Lead the team in delivering high-quality custom framing solutions to customers.
• Plan workload and sales floor time in partnership with the Store Manager to meet KPI targets.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs for the store.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Support talent development and participate in periodic performance reviews.
