Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in Riverside, CA to help customers find products, provide friendly service and support checkout operations. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a well-merchandised store to deliver our brand promise.

The role involves engaging customers, promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and contributing to a positive, inclusive store environment. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and execute cash handling to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planograms; maintain in-stock conditions.
