Job summary

ScentAir is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and support environmental fragrance systems. You will cover Southern NY, CT, DE, NJ, and Eastern PA, operating from a home office with substantial travel.

You’ll travel to client sites, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose issues while maintaining strong customer relationships. A company vehicle, tools, and a tech-enabled setup are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years field experience as a mechanical/service technician
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read/build blueprints is a plus
• Strong written and oral customer communication
• Frequent travel within a reasonable radius; overnight travel 1–3 nights/week; no weekends

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to install and service environmental fragrance systems
• Follow up with customers to verify expectations are met
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed equipment
• Diagnose and repair installed equipment as required
• Conduct onsite surveys and equipment specification per scope
• Prepare and submit all technical documentation per guidelines
• Complete tasks per installation & service schedules with minimal supervision
