Job summary

This Field Service Technician role with ScentAir Technologies, LLC involves installing, servicing and supporting environmental fragrance systems across Southern NY, CT, DE, NJ and Eastern PA. You will operate from a home office, with a company vehicle, tools and equipment provided, and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities include site installations, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and documenting service activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years field experience as a mechanical or service technician using small hand tools.
• Self-starter with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical systems.
• Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.
• Able to read and interpret building plans and blueprints is a plus.
• Previous customer facing experience with solid written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to install and service environmental fragrance systems.
• Verify service outcomes with customers and ensure expectations are met.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment at client locations.
• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on installed equipment.
• Complete onsite property survey and equipment specifications as instructed in scope of work.
• Prepare, complete and submit all technical documentation per company guidelines.
• Follow installation and service schedules with minimal supervision.
