ScentAir is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and support environmental fragrance systems. You will cover Southern NY, CT, DE, NJ, and Eastern PA, operating from a home office with substantial travel.

You’ll travel to client sites, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose issues while maintaining strong customer relationships. A company vehicle, tools, and a tech-enabled setup are provided.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years field experience as a mechanical/service technician
• Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read/build blueprints is a plus
• Strong written and oral customer communication
• Frequent travel within a reasonable radius; overnight travel 1–3 nights/week; no weekends

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and providing technical support for ScentAir environmental fragrance systems. This Field Service Technician's coverage area will be Southern NY, CT, DE, NJ, Eastern PA areas.

Your day to day...

• Travel to client sites to install & service environmental fragrance systems that disperse fragrance into desired target areas
• Follow up with customers receiving service to verify expectations are achieved
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment installed in client locations as required
• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on installed equipment as required
• Perform onsite property survey and equipment specification as instructed in scope of work
• Prepare, complete and submit all technical documentationper company guidelines
• Complete tasks as directed by installation & service schedules with minimum supervision

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years field experience as a mechanical or service technician using small hand tools
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well with changing priorities
• Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical systems
• Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
• Able to read and interpret building plans and blueprints is a plus
• Previous customer facingexperience with solidwritten and oral communications skills
• Frequent travel required within a reasonable radius
• Overnight travel will typically be requiredone to three nights per week
• No weekends are typically required

This position will be based out of your home office. While on-site, the noise level in the work environment can be loud at some client facilities. Local travel to client and sub-contractor facilities will be required and will generally account for approximately 40% of your work time, and at times may exceed that.

While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and use a ladder to perform work. You will occasionally be required to sit, use hands to operate a computer and calculator, and communicate accordingly via email and Microsoft Teams.
